Robert C. ADAMS Obituary
ADAMS, Robert C. With great sadness we announce the passing of Bob Adams on August 7, 2018. Born March 23, 1931 in Newark, NJ, Bob soon moved to Miami. He and his beloved brother Lowell enjoyed every outdoor adventure possible, from sailing Biscayne Bay to swimming with manatees in the Miami River. He graduated from Miami Tech and answered the call of his nation during the Korean War. He served in Air Force communications in frigid Newfoundland where he met his wife, Helen. They married and relocated to Miami, bought a house and had children. Bob's career flourished at ATT. Soon they were living on a large lake in Hialeah, sharing with their neighbors a life of sailing, fishing, boating, athletics and exploring the US with their campers. In 1997, they relocated to West Palm Beach and later made Holy Trinity Episcopal Church their spiritual home. Bob was an organizer and volunteer Miami Lakes UCC, Telephone Pioneers, COPS and others. His family, friends and community knew his fun-loving nature and generosity. He loved his wife and family. He loved people and he loved life. He loved his church, the Lord, the outdoors, and his country. He is survived by his daughter Lorie Adams (Rob Gorman), his son Gregory (Julie Adams) and his grandchildren Kevin Gennarelli (Jennifer Gennarelli), Scott Adams, Kelly Adams Bullard (Justin Bullard), and Harrison Gorman. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church on Saturday, August 18 at 10:00AM.
