STANISLAWA ZOFIA GLOWALA Age 86 of Greenacres, FL passed away March 13, 2010. She was born in Warsaw, Poland to Andrzej and Maria Krzyzanowski. She was a member of the Polish Solidarity movement that helped overturn the communist regime in Poland. She also was a survivor of the Warsaw uprising against the German occupation in 1944. She is survived by, son, Andrzej Glowala (wife, Anna); daughter, Hanna Chandler (husband, Walter); brothers, Richard Krzyzanowski of Philadelphia, PA and Jerzy Krzyzanowski of Bordeaux, France; grandchildren, Karolina Glowala-Kuroczycki, Olivia Glowala and James Chandler; great-grandchildren, Eva and Sofia Kuroczycki. She was preceded in death by husband, Zbigniew Glowala; sister, Krystyna and brother, Waclaw. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 27 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2892 S. Congress Ave., Palm Springs, FL 33461. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach. Dorsey-E.
