Family-Placed Obituary

WILLIAM J. HEFFNER William J. Heffner passed away on March 27, 2009 after a long illness. Mr. Heffner born December 6, 1928 in Baltimore, Maryland, graduated from Johns Hopkins University, went on to earn a law degree from the University Of Maryland. He served with distinction in the United States Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean war. After a successful career in commercial banking, Mr. Heffner went on to found Mt. Vernon Capitol Management. He also served on the boards of Triangle Industries and L. F. Rothchild. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara and daughters Claudia Peltz and Holly McCloskey as well as 12 grand- children. Funeral Mass 10 AM Tuesday At St. Patrick's Church, Bedford Village, NY followed by Entombment at Gate of Heaven cemetery with Full Military Honors.
