William Page HOWELL Obituary
HOWELL, William Page William Page Howell, age 82, passed away on Friday, September 7, at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, FL. William "Bill" was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Lesslie Stockton and Pauline Page Howell on October 4, 1935. He attended University of Florida and served in the Air Force Reserves. In 1968, Bill co-founded an automotive paint distributorship, Gulfstream Paints, which was later sold to Sherwin Williams in 1986. Bill served as the mayor of Atlantis, FL for nine years. He was active in many civic and community organizations, including Kiwanis International and various bridge and shooting clubs. Bill and Pat traveled extensively and were long-time members at Atlantis Golf and Country Club. Bill is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Margaret Howell, his brother, Richard Stockton Howell, and his infant grandson, John Arthur Howell Cain. He is survived by his sons, Craig (Carol) Howell and Keith (Sarah) Howell; granddaughters, Meghan (Michael) Cain, Emily (Joseph) Pardue, Samantha (Dave) Penn, and Catherine Howell; grandson, William Stockton Howell; great-grandsons Collin Cain and Carson Pardue. A celebration of life will be held in West Palm Beach, FL at a later date.
