Jerome STERLING Obituary
Jerry Sterling, of Singer Island, passed away June 23, 2015. He was born in Boston and raised in Worchester, MA, September 6, 1924; son to Louis and Mollie Sterling. He moved to Miami where he worked for the US Postal Service. He served with honor in the Army Air Corps as a Radio operator in the European Theater during World War II. He will be missed by his loving wife, Lee; daughter, Bobbi Ozer (Neil); grandchildren, Nicole and Joshua Ozer; great-grandson, Jake Merrill; sister, Dorothy Raphaelson; nieces and nephews, Laurie Ballentine, Candy Raphaelson, Henry Raphaelson and Jeffrey Raphaelson. Contributions may be made to TrustBridge Hospice.

To the Sterling family. I'm So sorry for your loss. May Jerry rest in peace. Sending comfort, healing and prayers. I just found this out now. I'm from Worcester, MA and grew up on the same street where the Sterling's lived. I know Dorothy Sterling Raphaelson and grew up on Lovell St. in Worcester, MA where Dorothy lived before she married Milton. I knew Molly Sterling a friend of my late Mothers. I was trying to find how to get in touch with Dorothy and could not find her anywhere on line. If you would be so kind as to put me in touch, that would be great. She knows me as Sheila Glass. Jerry was not only one of the finest friends my parents and I had but also a wonderful and loving neighbor. He will always hold a very special place in my heart. Our condolences go out to Lee, Bobbi, Neil and the entire Sterling Family. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
