Thomas Ray McPherson, 70 passed away on Wednesday October 31st. 2018 after a long fight with multiple problems. He passed away at home in LaQuinta, Ca. Surrounded by his sister Patty nieces and nephews. The life long resident was born and raised in Blythe, Ca.

Tommy was born at home on Saturday January 10th 1948 on Willow St. to his mother Betty Ferguson and his grandparents as he called Bittyma & Papa. He worked different jobs including bartending & truck driving. Tommy enjoyed his jobs as he loved his life. He always had a smile on his face, always Joking, and laughing alot with his friends and family. He was never seen mad or negative, he was always a very happy and fun guy. He loved to golf with is dad Lee Ferguson and friends. He loved to ski on the Colorado River in Blythe and his favorite was playing pool and he was very good at that.

Tommy had lots of friends. He married at 16, He had 3 sons Billy Mees, Lonie and Leland McPherson and a daughter Paula Brown. Leland was the only one that really got to know his dad. Tommy would go over his moms house pretty often. He knew she would make him his favorite breakfast. he loved her biscuits, sausage and most of all her chocolate gravy he would bring some of his friends but mom enjoyed cooking for them.

Tommy left behind his Sister Patty Ferguson his 2 sons Leland McPherson and Billy Mees and his daughter Paula and nieces, nephews and multiple cousins.

Proceeding in Death is his parents Betty & Lee Ferguson his 2 brothers Larry McPherson, Denny McPherson, niece Tammie McPherson and son Lonie.

In honoring Tommy McPherson will be at Frye Chapel & Mortuary Blythe Ca. Thurs. Dec. 27, at 10:00 am.
