THERESA ANDERSON Terry Anderson aka Theresa Mireya Anderson was born Theresa Mireya Reyes on November 11th 1937 in Managua, Nicaragua. She migrated to the US as a young girl fleeing political turmoil in her home country. Terry grew up in San Francisco, CA, graduating from Notre Dame High School in 1956 and went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science. She attended finishing school, became a model and volunteered in multiple organizations over the years such as Soroptimist International, Moose International, The American Legion, Lions Club International and The Rotary Club of America to name a few. She had an interesting and varied career working in fields such as Advertising, Modeling, The Newspaper Industry, Sales and Marketing, Public Relations and working for Chambers of Commerce and Convention Bureaus. Terry's focus has always been to serve the public and focus on making the communities she lived in a better place. Terry was a trail blazer! She once founded a women's pistol shooting club in Missoula Montana and most recently volunteered for the Paradise Symphony Society. Terry had many passions that included her pets, traveling, the theater, the symphony and the great outdoors. She loved listening to Jazz music and reading mysteries. She visited cities and countries all over the US and the world including Europe, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Canada. She enjoyed both snow and water skiing. She was a lifelong 49er fan and always rooted for the local teams in baseball and basketball and was an avid tennis fan. She was a true auto racing fan often going to places like Laguna Seca and Sears Point (now Sonoma Raceway) and even dabbled in racing sports cars herself. She was the loving daughter of Bertha Rosa Reyes and loving mother to Clifford Loring Bohannon and Glenn Alan Bohannon and loving grandmother to Jade Lilette Walker. She was formerly married to Donald Ross Bohannon and Emmett Raymond Anderson. She is survived by her son Glenn and his daughter Jade. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16th, 2017 at the First Christian Church, 5738 Pentz Rd, Paradise CA 95969.
