Obituary Condolences

WILLIAM FRANKLIN ROGERS JR. Aug. 5, 1953 - Apr. 1, 2014 William 'Will' Franklin Rogers Jr., age 60 went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 1, 2014, surrounded by his family, embraced in Love. Will and his wife Patricia came to Paradise back in 2002 to be a part of a loving, family community. His love of God brought him to Paradise Alliance Church (CMA) where he worshipped and gave of his time as an usher. He made friends with everyone he met, as he had an incredibly bubbly, humorous and loving personality! Will never met a person he didn't love. Will's love of life included his blessed relationships with his family. He spent many wonderful days with his wife, kids, grandkids, siblings and his mother. He was always an adventurer who loved to seek out the fun in all he did! He had many interests and hobbies, of which photography was at the top, catching views of life in action! Will also had a special heart for kitty cats, and was embraced by Lynx, KittyBob, and Sophie at home. Will was diagnosed with terminal stage IV lung cancer back in 2011. Because of his zest for life, he did not let that get in the way of his last big adventure which was to go back to school, Chico State University and graduate with a degree in English. He loved being one of the 'youngest' students and made multiple friendships with teachers and other students. Will is survived by his wife of many years: Patricia. He also leaves behind his children; William Tyler, Alicia, Jenaya, Gabrielle and Ashley, his mother Bonnie, two sisters, one brother, one son-in-law, five grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and ZILLIONS of friends who absolutely adored him. A memorial service is planned for April 6th at 4:00pm at the Paradise Alliance Church (CMA), Paradise, California. View obituary and send condolences online at WWW.NBCFH.com
