LITTLER, Robert D.

It is with a broken and heavy heart that we announce the passing of our loving father, Robert Daniel Littler. Robert passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 7th, 2021 at the age of 53. Originally from Pictou, Robert is known for his amazing construction ability, his love for his family, friends and strangers alike and his years of dedicated service to the Scotsburn Fire Department. His vibrant and kind hearted presence will be everlasting. He was predeceased by his parents, Murray Littler and Mary Lou Robinson, as well as his brother, Murray Littler. Survived by his wife, Merly Belarmino; his children, Riley, Heather, Robert (Madison); and step children, Venus Roxanne and Vhea Roselle. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Cindy (Bayne) Barkhouse, Debbie Littler, June (Don) Hill, John (Lori) Littler, Melody (Darrell) Fraser, as well as sister-in-law, Cindy Littler. He will also be missed by his step-father, Kenneth McAloney, his many nieces and nephews, and his canine companion and best friend, Duke. Robert's family would like to send out their deepest appreciation to the Aberdeen Hospital, the Palliative Care Unit and the VON, for all of their help and support. A special thanks to Jacqueline MacCallum. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a celebration of Robert's life will take place at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to Aberdeen Palliative Care.
