Anthony Aragon Obituary

ANTHONY ARAGON
July 23, 1964 - February 3, 2013

Anthony Aragon was born on July 23, 1964, and passed away on February 3, 2013, of a Brain Hemorrhage/Stroke.

He was born to Anthony and Rose Marie Aragon in Pacoima, California. Rose re-married to Ronald James Hitchcock ll, who helped raise Anthony, as well as their two other children Connie Jo and Ronald James ll. Ronald and Rose moved the family to Frazier Park, California, where Anthony attended Maricopa High School where he played Varsity Football and Baseball. The family moved back to the San Fernando Valley shortly after father Ronald passed away in a car accident. Living in the city of San Fernando, Anthony continued High School at San Fernando High where he met his future wife, Rebecca Andrade.

Anthony was fascinated with cars, both fixing and restoring them. He continued on to work for all three of his Uncles in the automotive business, learning something from each one of them. With that knowledge, Anthony was able to then open his own business.

Anthony and Rebecca were married on November 24, 1984. They had four beautiful children; Kassandra, Rebecca N., Margaret, and Anthony E., and together built a beautiful life filled with wonderful memories.

Anthony was an amazing Husband, Father, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew, Brother, Son and Friend. He was very involved in all of his children's lives whether it was sports, school functions, church, or just having their friends over for a BBQ and swimming. Anthony had friends of all walks of life that love him. He loved to go camping, play golf, or just relax as he watched TV. Most of all he loved attending Lil Anthony's Baseball or Football games. He never missed one of them!

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch, CA., at 11:00a.m. A fund has been started for the Aragon Family if you would like to contribute. We will miss Anthony's fun humor and incredible stories. Camping with the Aragons was such a wonderful event for our family. We feel so priviledg to have shared that time with them. We can never seem to understand why God takes a life before their time. I am positive there will be a lot of laughter up in heaven now that Anthony is there to liven things up. Blessings from the Martinez Family.

I had the pleasure of working with and for Anthony in his capacity as a contractor. Anthony was an innovator in his field and conducted his business with a great sense of pride, honesty and integrity, all characteristics that are hard to come and inspirational to see. His work extended to helping beautifying, cleaning and providing safe housing of otherwise dilapidated and condemned properties all over Southern California.

Anthony welcomed me into his network of associates, friends and family almost immediately, for which I am ever grateful. Within a matter of months he became a friend, a father figure to me and a mentor. My husband and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Aragon family and are sadden that our three week old daughter, Rosalind, will not get the pleasure of meeting such a loving father, wonderful friend and model citizen.

I find comfort in knowing my son, Koufax (March 3, 2012 - April 3, 2012), now has a baseball coach and a father figure in heaven looking out for our son. Rest in Peace Anthony.

With heaviness in my heart, I say goodbye to my cousin Anthony. I send my condolences to your wife, your children, your siblings and your mom. I have nothing but great memories of you and how fun you were, how giving you were and im glad I had the privilege of spending time with you on your short stay here. I will also never forget how you brought me a pair of Nike shoes when I woke up from my coma in the hospital, many years ago. That meant more than words can express. I cant wait to see you again on the other side. Love, cousin Raymond.

Anthony, you will FOREVER remain one of my most favorite people, that God graced this earth with! You were truly one of a kind, with kind being the key word...Thank you for always treating my whole family with such Kindness, even down to my baby girl Savanna! She came home from camping with you & all the gang, and all she could talk about was how you were so nice & kind to her! I told her that's exactly the way you treated me, ever since I was a little girl! We love you and will miss u for always...Nat
