So sad to hear that he passed away. He was my favorite professor at Caltech for many reasons.

The Pelling Family remembers Heinz for all his wonderful work with youth in the Jr. rifle program. He taught Raymond and Kendall how to shoot. They are both great hunters and provide a deer for their families in Pittsburgh, PA every year. Now Kendall is teaching his 11 year old daughter how to shoot and hunt. All this is thanks to Heinz. Joey Radosevich also learned to shoot with him. He also lives in Pennsylvania now. We remember Heinz as always cheerful, full of life, humor, encouraging and caring. He made the jr. rifle program a great joy. We thank God for knowing such a wonderful man. Judylynn and Jim Pelling
