August 4, 1932 - December 22, 2020 Kay Dunn, loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and dear friend, passed away in Covina, CA on December 22, 2020 peacefully and without pain. Born in Los Angeles, CA on August 4, 1932 to Curtis and Augusta Barnes, Kay grew up in Taft, CA. She graduated from Taft Union High School and went on to obtain a degree in education from UC Santa Barbara. After graduation she worked as an elementary school teacher. Kay met her husband Kenneth Dunn in Santa Barbara and they married in 1955. The couple moved to West Covina in 1962 with their two children, Susan and Bill Dunn. Kay was a devoted mother and she took pleasure in raising her kids. She had a profound influence on both their lives. Kay was always someone to be counted on for her sense of humor, loyalty, love and support. She will remain forever in our hearts and in the hearts of those lives she touched. Kay was predeceased by her husband Ken Dunn in 2007 and her son Bill Dunn in 2009. She is survived by brother William Barnes, nieces, nephews and daughter Susan Dunn.
