MOULTON, Lois Jeane

Lois Jeane, known for a contagious smile, grateful heart, philanthropic generosity and as a pioneer woman in real estate, lives on in the hearts of many family and friends including her son, Robert Carl Moulton, her daughter, Lauren Moulton-Beaudry and her daughter's husband Bruce Beaudry. Lois Jeane's Gentle Giant, William Carl Moulton, of 50 years of marriage passed before her.

Lois Jeane was proud of her over fifty years of service to the Pasadena Foothill Association of Realtors, to the Pasadena community, and the State of California working to protect private property rights, providing help to buyers, sellers and exchangers of property and taking an active role in local organizations including the League of Women Voters and the Chamber of Commerce. She was also a devoted member of First Church of Christ Scientists in Boston and in Glendale.

Lois Jeane served two years as president of the Pasadena Board of Realtors as well as served as a state Director for 15 years, Vice President of the 16th district of the CAR and three years as a Director of the National Association of Realtors.

Her greatest joy was her family, a made to order travel and bridge group. She never missed an opportunity to play bridge or go on a family trip whether it was camping, road trips or cruising. The family enjoyed touring the state and national parks, a trip to the bible lands, several cruises to Europe, a safari to Kenya, a trip down the Nile River in Egypt, Australia and New Zealand and a wonderful cruise around the cape in South America starting in Chile and ending in Brazil. Her last trip was to Iceland.

When recently asked what could be done for her, she responded, "Be grateful." She was always up for a new adventure. She will be missed, though she will continue to guide our lives. She is soaring now.
