Patricia Ann Olerich
Feb.20,1939-Feb.28, 2013

Patricia Ann Olerich, passed away on February 28th, in Glendora, surrounded by family. Born in Delaware, to Kathleen Peard and William Anders, she was the oldest of five children. Pat attended grade school in Virginia and
graduated from York High School in Elmhurst, IL. She soon met Richard Brinkman Olerich, and they were married while he was an engineering student at Purdue University. Pat endured many moves in the Chicago area, then to Boston and finally to California, but always enjoyed fixing up each new home and joining the Newcomer Clubs, which led to many friendships through outings, bridge games and bowling groups. Pat loved to travel, especially family ski trips to Colorado, a tour of Europe with Richard and reunions in Chicago and Florida. Her passion was finding treasures at antique stores, which led to her being hired to design the decor for two "Sweetriver Saloon" restaurants. Finally, a place to display her moose head, old musical instruments, carousel horse, cool signs and other unique pieces! Pat will be remembered always. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Richard; sisters, Nancy (Chuck) Rose and Lois Seyller; her children, Stephen Olerich, Michael Olerich, and Cori (Peter) Mehring; grandchildren, Lauren and Nicole Olerich, Steve Olerich II, and Collin and Morgan Mehring, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and William Anders, and brothers Robert Anders and Bill Anders Jr. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 22, at Oakdale Memorial Park, Glendora, with a reception to follow, 12:00-3:00pm at the Covina Radisson Hotel.
