PAULINE PAULINE CLARRE JENNINGS August 2, 1923 - May 11, 2009 Pauline was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She spent her childhood with her sister, and best friend, Patricia Evans, and parents, Frank and Velma Evans, during the lean years of the depression. She met and married Elmer Dean Jennings on March 26th, 1943, during WWII. Pauline went to live in Montana with Dean's mother while Dean was stationed in France. She worked at her father in law's bar in Harlowton, Montana while raising her two sons. In 1958, after moving back and forth many times between L.A. and Montana, she and Dean, finally, made Reseda their permanent home. Pauline, then, went to work at Rocketdyne until 1984, working during the Apollo Project and the beginning of the Space Shuttle era. Then, was surprised with the birth of their daughter. She and Dean decided to buy two Harley Davidson motorcycles and began to ride with the Valleymen Motorcycle Club; which was established by them. This was the beginning of her lifelong love of travel. Despite a serious injury to her leg in a motorcycle accident in 1967 (and many years of rehabilitation) she got back on her refurbished motorcycle and continued to ride for many more years! Her passion was traveling, whether it be on a motorcycle, an airplane, a cruise, or in motorhome. After her husband passed away in 1988, she became very involved in many senior clubs. Several years later, she met a former Valleymen member, Bud (George) Wroot, who became her partner and companion of over 15 years, until her death. She continued to enjoy traveling and sharing her life with Bud throughout the rest of her life. She was loved by all, and was the grandest of ladies. She was always optimistic, happy to be a friend and kind to all, always had a smile on her face, and always helped everyone. Pauline had a deep faith and knew there would be another life for her in heaven; she will be missed by everyone she touched! She is survived her beloved companion, Bud Wroot; s on, Edward Allen Jennings; daughter, Chyre Mae; her son-in-law, Kenneth Kan; daughters-in-law, Linda and Debby Jennings; granddaughters, Claudine, Stephanie, Melissa, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Megan; great grandchildren, Nikita, Kyle, Peyton, Tawney, and Jolie. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; and her son, Richard Dean Jennings. Memorial Service will be held at St. John Eudes, in Chatsworth, on Tuesday, May 26th, 2009, at 7:00 p.m.
