FISHER-James Robert Fisher, 54, peacefully left this life after a short illness, on Friday, May 27, 2005. in Williamsburg, Virginia,. Jim was born in Nyack, New York on August 26, 1950, the son of Margaret Fisher and the late Robert James Fisher. Jim and his wife Dee have lived in La Canada-Flintridge for the past 20 years. He practiced law in Pasadena, CA for the past 25 years and was active in the Pasadena Bar Assoc iation. Jim will be remembered for his participation in the Big Brothers Program, and Hillsides Home for Children. Most recently he was a member of the organizing committee for the 2nd Lt. Andrew Torres Golf Tournament held at the La Canada Country Club. The proceeds went to strategic cancer research at Huntington Medical Research Institutes in Pasadena. He is survived by his loving wife Dee, mother Margaret Fisher of Williamsburg, Virginia, sister Jane Hansen and husband Ray and their two daughters, Lara a nd Amy, and sister Amy Smith and husband Dave and their daughter Megan and son Matt. A service of remembrance and celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the La Canada Thursday Club, 4440 Woodleigh Lane, La Canada, Flintridge, CA. The family wishes to thank the many who sent special messages and offered their prayers during Jim's sudden and brief illness. Memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to Hillsides Home for Children, 940 Avenue 64, Pasadena, CA. 91105.

Ive reconnected with Joni and Im hoping to see her soon. I miss you and think of you often. Im certain you are making everyone laugh where you are now. Peace brother.

Dear Jim: I'm so sorry we did not stay in touch. My greatest memories are of Brown, Reed & Gibson, San Felipe, Mexico, Coffee With Fridays and Frozen Assets. I love you Jim. Although we did not keep in touch, I have never forgotten you and how much you love Dee. All my Love, Karen
