DORIS MAE "NANA" JEFFREY
Age 89, of Paradise, California, went home to be in the arms of her Savior Jesus on January 8, 2018 at Pineview Care Center in Paradise, CA. Her beloved husband of 68 years, Gerald "Gene" was by her side.
The celebration service will be held at 11:00 am on January 22, 2018 at Jubilee on the Ridge Church in Paradise, CA. Friends will be received in the vestibule immediately following the service. Burial is private.
Doris was born in Missoula, MT on October 29, 1928. She eventually came to Riverside, CA. She was very active in the Youth Group at 1st Baptist Church in Riverside, CA where she met her beloved Gene. They also served at Grace Baptist Church and Bethel Christian Center both in Riverside, CA and those friendships have remained for a lifetime.
Doris was married to Gerald "Gene" Jeffrey on August 3, 1950; they were married 68 wonderful years.
Doris worked at Riverside Medical Clinic and then for Dr. Rodney Soholt for many years. She enjoyed her job and made many friends. But in her life, the most important thing to her was her family and serving the Lord. She was at her happiest when she was spending time with her family. Her light and unconditional love shines brightly and will live forever in her grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her beloved husband Gerald "Gene"; son, Bruce Jeffrey & wife, Marita; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by son, Mark Jeffrey.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Organization. The family has set up a Tribute page on Alz.org Condolences to the family may be left on Doris's online memorial website at Legacy.com/ DorisJeffrey

Aunt Doris had a way of always making you feel loved and special. She was gentle, kind and thoughtful; a wonderful person to have in your life. She made the world a better place and was a gift to all of us.
