GILBERT LARA GARCIA (GIL)

Gil passed away Oct 23, 2017. He was born in Jerome, AZ and raised in AZ and CA. Gil was survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary L (Van Aken), and sons: Daniel (Kim), Dominic (Heather), Michael (Julie), and Brian. He is also survived by 13 grandkids, and five great-grandkids. A daughter, Selina, and son, Bernie, preceded him in death. Gil was a retired U.S. Air Force pilot, and retired from Kaiser Steel Mill as Manager of Accounting Services. Viewing and Rosary 4-8pm on Nov 12, Montecito Memorial, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA. Mass will be held Nov. 13 at 10am, Immaculate Conception Church, 1106 N. La Cadena Dr., Colton followed by interment at Riverside National Cemetery. Celebration of Life will follow, at VFW, 22616 Alessandro Blvd., Moreno Valley. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to Disabled American Veterans Charity or the Fisher House Foundation.
