NANCY FERN MACCABE, 85, passed away on November 21, 2014 at Kaiser Inland Valley Hospital. She was born in Emporia, Kansas on February 5, 1929, to Ira and Gladys Faubion. Nancy Fern moved to California with her family in 1939, and was a resident of Perris, California for the past 40 years. She had a quick smile and cheerful disposition. Her interests included staying in touch with family, reading, playing Yahtzee and caring for her beloved pets, Lacy, Minnie and Mickey. Nancy Fern is survived by her sister, Virginia Rostvold; brother, Richard Faubion; son Benjamin and his wife Colleen; two granddaughters, Angelique and Veronica; five nieces; three nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; and three great, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 36 years, Roland "Mac" MacCabe, her sister Norma Ruddiman and brother, Maurice Faubion. A graveside service will be held at Perris Valley Cemetery on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Donations may be sent to Nancy Fern's favorite charity, ASPCA.org or mailed to: ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929
