Adeline "Addie" Aspittle Obituary
ADELINE (ADDIE) ASPITTLE Adeline (Addie) Aspittle was born July 30, 1922 to Charles and Maude Hegg in Mason, Wisconsin, the seventh of nine children, and passed away May 29, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents and seven siblings. She was a loving mother to Gayle (Tom) and Claire (Charles), grandmother to Melissa, Andrea, Clifford, Carolyn and Clinton and great-grandmother of eight. A sister, Lorayne, survives her. Prior to coming to Riverside, she worked in drug stores in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She moved to Riverside in January 1943. Addie worked in Civil Service as a stenographer in the Mira Loma Quartermaster Department for seven years until her marriage to Harold Aspittle on June 16, 1950. She was a homemaker until 1963 when she began working as a stenographer at Bowes Pacific Corporation. She retired as office manager in 1982. She enjoyed RVing and playing cards. Addie was an active member of Faith Community Church. She sang in the choir, worked Senior Lunch for fifteen years and helped with church thrift sales for 14 years. They moved to the mobile home park in 1976, and she was active in the social club. She was also involved with GSMOL for fifteen years. Private burial at Riverside National Cemetery.
