Albert "Al" Godfrey Tuller, Jr.

Al passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Menifee, California; he was born on December 13, 1924 in Oakland, California to the late Albert and Goldie Tuller, Sr.
He served his country during WWII in the US Navy from 1942-1946, he was a Radio 3rd Class on the USS Argonne Submarine. Following his time in the service, Al received his BS Business Administration degree from the University of California Berkeley. He married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Turk on October 5, 1952 in Manteca, California.
He owned his own construction company for 50 years, Al Tuller Construction in Hemet, California. He specialized in building residential homes, and then working for his friend Jack Tangeman at Hemet Casting. His passion for building and his happiness came when he started working with his close friend, Nick Jones, and his family at Miller-Jones Mortuary and Cemetery.
Al was a member of Theta Chi fraternity, Junior Chambers of Commerce in Hemet, Hemet Exchange Club, Soboba Springs Country Men's Club, and 25 Years Ramona Bowl Supervisor.
Al enjoyed hunting with his Springer Spaniel Storm, fishing in Alaska with his daughter Carol and many friends and golfing. He and Tricia traveled the globe with many friends including the Tangermans, Searls, Howards and many more. They loved to sail on the Windstar, embarking on 37 different journeys. He was an avid sports lover, and enjoyed watching his son, Albie and his granddaughters play. He always wanted to give advice on how to improve their game. Involvement in agriculture helped Lynne with all her livestock projects. In his later years, he shopped and cut coupons, read the stock market, but most of all, this man loved to work.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia Turk Tuller; his loving children, Carol Tuller and partner Ron Espenschied of San Diego, California, Lynne (Joel) Button of Menifee, California, Albert (Sandi) Tuller of Indio, California and Pam Mason of Menifee, California; his grandchildren, Jordan Button of Menifee, California, Summer (Billy) Morris of La Quinta, California, Jenna (Michael) Feldman of Bismarck, North Dakota, Ali Tuller (partner Kyle Cowan) of La Quinta, California, Jansen (Ulrick) John of Tempe, Arizona and Cody (Melissa) Mason of Hesperia, California. His great grandchildren, Bradley, Riley, Parker, Gabe, Elena and baby Girl expected June 2017; also survived by sister-in-law Carol Buck of Arizona, and brother and sister-in-law Robert and Barbara Turk. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Goldie Tuller, Sr., sister-in-law and brother, Becky and Charles Tuller and son, Thomas Mason.

There will be a Celebration of Al's Life on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 10:30am at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, Ca 92586, with Reverend Donald Jentes officiating. He will be laid to rest privately at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery.
