Alexa Lizet REY-ANDERSON Obituary
ALEXA LIZET REY-ANDERSON 10/16/1977-2/11/2014 "Eternally Alive in Jesus Christ" Alexa was 36 years old, when she went home to be with the Lord. She was born in Oxnard, California. She lived the last 28 years in Hemet. Alexa accepted Jesus as her Savior, and now rests in His presence. She loved people and made many friends while working at Sun West Village, Manhattan Steakhouse and Rockefellers. She was a hard worker and a caring person. As hard as her sudden passing is, she fought a long, hard battle with cancer. Her favorite color was purple and she collected roosters for her kitchen. She was a longtime Dodger, Angel and Laker fan, and kept close track of the scores. She was an avid reader. Alexa loved spending time with her 2 daughters and many friends, who were like family. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Julia Lizet and Samantha Lynn Jackson; parents Arvid and Elva Carolina Anderson; sister Lauren; brothers Alejandro and Eric; nieces Marhya, and Vanessa; grandmothers Maria Teresa Rey and Margaret Anderson; as well as her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Alexa's extended family included the members of the Jackson/Hoogestraat family. Alexa was preceded in death by her grandfathers Don Jose Guadalupe S. Rey and Arvid A. Anderson, Sr. We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that touched Alexa's life during her illness at Hemet Valley Hospital, Riverside County Regional Medical Center, Visiting Nurses and UC Irvine Medical Center. We found so many caring people, willing to treat our daughter. A celebration of her life will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 412 Church 1450 West 7th Street San Jacinto, California 92582. Please join us in remembering and honoring Alexa.
