ALEXANDER "LISANDRE" CARLI, MD. Alexander "Lisandre" Carli, MD., 74, of Corona, CA, passed away on January 19, 2017. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Thomas Miller Mortuary, Corona, CA. Alexander was born in Marseille, France to Felix and Angele on November 6, 1942. He married Becky Straatmann on December 1, 1983 in Washington, MO. Alexander is survived by his wife Becky Carli; his children, Amy, Julie, Mia, Nichole, Brandon, son-in-law; his sister, Francoise, Jean-Claude, brother-in-law; grandchildren, Aiden and Luke; nephew and niece, Thomas and Caroline; great nephew, Alexander. Alexander is also survived by Becky's family. He graduated medical school at University of Marseille, Columbia University in New York, University of Missouri St. Louis and Washington University in St. Louis. He was an accomplished physician and surgeon: board certified in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Hand Surgery. He was a French Paratrooper in Algeria. Alexander was also a competitive swimmer and remained a passionate swimmer his entire life. Alexander's medical and professional memberships include: American Society of Plastic and Surgeons, International Society of Plastic Surgeons, California Society of Plastic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and Honorary Professor, University California Riverside. Memorial donations may be given to Wounded Warriors Project and the American Society for the Protection and Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). The family of Alexander Carli wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Corona Regional Medical Center.
