ALEXANDER GARCIA SR. went home to Jesus on February 25, 2016 after a battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was born on November 28, 1945 in Pomona, CA. He was a resident of Chino, CA for the last 40 years. He attended Pomona schools and graduated from Garey High School in 1964. Alex was employed by AT&T as a Cable Technician over 30 years, and retired in 2000. He was a hard worker, he loved his job and took great pride in it. He loved sports, camping, and music, but mostly loved his family. He enjoyed being surrounded by them in his backyard BBQ's and swim parties. He was a forever Raiders fan. He touched many lives with his kind heart, funny jokes and his no-nonsense counsel. Alex is survived by his wife Terri; his son Alex Garcia Jr. & his wife Sherie; grandson Dylan Garcia and granddaughter Alyssa Garcia, all of Alta Loma, CA, his sister Beatrice Romero of Pomona, CA and many loving nieces and nephews and a large extended family who loved him dearly. He had only one son but was a father to many more who came to know him as their "Dad". He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur & Antonia Estrada and his sister Cecelia Moon. Services will be held on Friday, March 4 at Calvary Chapel Chino Valley, Chino, CA at 11:00 a.m.
