Amber Lynn Keith Obituary
AMBER LYNN KEITH, daughter to Gary Keith and Tarinia Keith, was born on January 13, 1998, in Riverside, California. She was diagnosed as a baby with Cystic Fibrosis, which kept her from continuous attendance at public schools; however, she obtained her high school diploma by persevering with home schooling. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ. Amber was a fighter of her disease, enduring many medical treatments and hospital stays throughout her life. As a result of her spunky spirit and mothering instinct to all children, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers and scriptures she loved to paint and her fight for life will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She earned her angel wings on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Keck Hospital of USC, in Los Angeles California. Beautiful Amber will forever be cherished in the lives of her loved ones: mother, Tarinia Keith of Riverside, CA; father, Gary Keith and stepmom, Liz of Riverside, CA; papa and nana, Bryan and Carol Glidewell of Riverside, CA; papa and his wife, Bud and Kathy Keith of Riverside, CA; brother Dominic Lane and his girlfriend Alisha and sisters Felishia Valdez, Sabrina Valdez, and Jessicia Valdez, all of Riverside, CA; little brother Aiden Jackson and little sissy Makayla Keith, both of Riverside, CA; aunt Lynnette Payne; aunt and uncle Jim and Cheryl Domenoe; aunt Emily St. Gelais; uncle Kurt Magnuson; nieces Stephanie and Aubree Bristol and nephew Anthony Soto; and nieces Sadie and Madison Lane; many cousins and close family friends; and her beloved dog, black lab, Shadow. Amber fought a courageous battle against Cystic Fibrosis her entire 18 years of life. A prayer posted by Amber a month before she joined our Father in Heaven is an example of her faith "God I ask you to send me the answers you want me to know God I ask you to lead me into the right direction God I ask you to give me the strength to continue to face this fight you have given to me to face over the past 18 years I ask that you continue to carry me through my struggles and show me the signs to the right path! I can't thank you enough and show you how blessed I am to call you my Father!" A "Celebration of Life" will be held at the Salvation Army Chapel, 3695 1st Street, Riverside, CA on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 2pm. Memorial donations may be given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in memory of Amber Lynn Keith. Mail to: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Southern California Chapter, 4929 Wilshire Blvd., Ste. 760, Los Angeles, CA 90010. The family wishes to extend our appreciation and sincere thank you to the medical staff at Loma Linda University for their 18 years of loving care to Amber. Also a thank you to the medical staff at Keck Hospital of USC for her care these past 8 months as she worked her way through a possible lung transplant.
