ANITA LOUISE MILLHOLLIN, 73, of Riverside, CA passed away June 29, 2015 from complications due to Alzheimer's. Graveside services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area #8, Friday, July 24th at 11:31 a.m. A memorial will be held at the American Legion Post #79. Anita was born in Jefferson County, MO, Dec 15, 1941. She was previously married and had 3 great sons, before she married the love of her life Robert Millhollin, who adopted the 3 boys and raised them as his own. She also took in 2 of her granddaughters Dana and Trista at a young age and also raised them. Anita was very active in volunteering at the local senior centers, she won numerous awards for her volunteering and was involved in many other activities. She was a member of the American Legion Post #79, The Eagle, and the Elks club. She was a great dancer and would attend all the local dances with whomever she could get to go with her. She loved to go to Taco Tuesday at the Legion and was always the life of the party. She had many friends who will miss her dearly. Anita is survived by her 3 sons, Phillip L. Millhollin, Kevin J. Millhollin and Timothy J. Millhollin; grandchildren Dana Millhollin, Trista Millhollin, Joseph Millhollin and Nicholas Millhollin; great-grandchildren Alexis , Nick, Nathan and Jaidyn. Anita was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Robert Millhollin who passed away in 2002 from radiation cancer from the Bikini Island atomic bomb testing. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Alzheimer's Foundation of America http://www.alzfdn.org/. The family of Anita L. Millhollin would like to thank Russ, Cous and Debbie at Sleepy Hollow Elderly Care in Riverside for their amazing loving care for the last 2 years of her life. We would also like to thank Bright Sky Hospice for their care and support, 2 great facilities in our time of need.
