ARLEY WAYNE JACOBS
Age 67, of Yucaipa, CA, passed away on January 19th, 2017 at home, after battling PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy).
The funeral service will be held at 10am on February 3, 2017 at Montecito Memorial Park located at 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA 92324. Jack Farr of Mesa Church of Christ in Chandler, AZ will be officiating. Private burial will follow at a later date. Funeral arrangements handled by Montecito Memorial Chapel.
Wayne was born in Tulsa, OK on May 12th, 1949. He graduated from Mesa High School and continued his education at Mesa Community College. Wayne was married to Pamela Gail Bradley on October 3rd, 1998; they were married 18 years. Wayne began working as a stocker at the age of 19 and quickly became the youngest store manager, giving 43 years to the K-Mart Corporation. He enjoyed spending time with his family, was an avid book reader and taking yearly trips with his beloved wife.
Wayne is survived by his wife Pamela; children David (Jill) Jacobs, Tami (Craig) Coffey, and Brian (Erin) Jacobs; stepchildren Christy (Thomas) Vidaurri, Kerry (Carlen) Barnes and Sarah Barnes; grandchildren Colin, Cam, Staci, McKenna, Gavin, Ethan, Audrey, Brittany, Melanie, Katelyn, Christian, Bethany, Pamela and Riley; brother Steve (Kathy) Jacobs; sisters Millie (Larry) Vanover and Leanne (Jack) Farr; many cousins, nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Bonnie Bradley; brother-in-law Don (Michelle) Bradley; sister-in-law Diann McKague and his loyal dog Jack. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Arley and Norma Jacobs and father-in-law Donald Bradley.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Cure PSP by visiting their website http://www.psp.org/. The family of Arley Wayne Jacobs wishes to thank his devoted caregiver Mavreen and hospice care nurses Mary and Elizabeth of Destiny Home Health.
