BEN BRIAN BUTTERFIELD 8/24/35 - 12/7/13 Survived by wife of 40 years, Lori & children Michael, Glenda Nixon, Brian, David, and Ann Mora, as well as brother Fred Butterfield; grandchildren Sierra & Alison Butterfield, Josh and Ben & Carly Mora, Lea Butterfield, Jason & Doug Stinson & Kortne Schorzman. Ben worked for Save on Drug Store as a Manager for 45 years, where he initiated the ROP program for the community. He was born in Walteria Ca. and graduated South Gate High. Ben absolutely loved the Lake and the community around it. He was an active Member of Ram Rods car club and lived in Lake Elsinore for 35 years. Mr. Butterfield has been a life time member of the Elks as well as a soccer coach for the lake Elsinore Soccer Club for 10 years, a professional softball player, a golden glove Boxing Champion, avid golfer, and a member of the MLCC Golf Club and Board of Directors for the ground breaking on Inland Valley Regional Medical center where he passed. He also taught hundreds of kids to waterski. He will forever be a best friend to many people including his children. Mr. Butterfield is preceded in death by Oscar, Gladys, and Delmar Butterfield. Funeral services will be held at the Grace Point Church of the Nazarene located at 21400 Canyon Drive Wildomar, Ca. 92595 at 11:00 A.M.
