BERNICE "KITTY" NAGLE, 84, of Mineral, Virginia entered into eternal life on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Born August 4, 1930 in Columbia, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Bernice (Boykin) Boykin. Kitty considered Georgetown, SC as her hometown. She married Richard "Dick" Nagle on May 17, 1952 in Santa Monica, California. She dedicated her whole life to her family; managing the family budget and finances. She liked boating, camping, beach trips at Pawleys, she took classes at Santa Monica City College and Riverside Community College, housed four Micronesian students into the family in the 70's. She spent endless hours sitting at swimming pools and gym classes. She always insisted her children go to college. She worked at J. C. Pennys in Santa Monica, part-time in Riverside, and at the First Christian Church in Riverside. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandparent, and great grandparent. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Richard J. Nagle, Jr.; children, Patty (Ken) Arvin, Rick (T.M.) Nagle, Cheryl (Jack) Baker, Colleen (Rocky) Herring, and Michele (Bob) Thompson; grandchildren, Noelle, Christian, Sean, Heather, Jenny, Cassie, Laura, Samantha, David, James, Sarah, Sadie, and Emma, and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Dot (Boykin) Brackman and Allene (Boykin) Haughee; and brothers, Jesse, Jim and Francis Boykin. A graveside service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 14 in The Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, Virginia with the Rev. David Cole officiating.
