Betty Jean Trogdon Obituary
BETTY JEAN TROGDON The Trogdon Brothers are saddened to announce the passing of their dear mother. Betty Jean Trogdon entered into this life on Thursday, May 8, 1941 in Dennison, Texas to Earl and Dovie Turner. Betty passed from this life to join her husband of 27 years, Robert (Bob) Dean Trogdon in everlasting life on Friday, September 4, 2015. Their mother was known to some people as Betty, but to many of the lives she touched, they thought of her as simply "Mom". Betty was a homemaker, loved musicals, old westerns, and entertaining while enjoying the company of others. However, nothing could compare to the joy in her life of raising her sons. Betty is survived by her boys: Thomas Ray (Gina), Donald James (Cindy), and Gerald Eugene (Colleen); her companion of 29 years, Jimmy Huffman; her sister, Billie; grandchildren, Jadia (Scott), Bradley, Jeremy, Joshua, and Brooke; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Anyone who knew Betty instantly loved her. She was a strong woman who was quick witted and with a very unique sense of humor. Her outgoing personality has caused her to positively affect many lives. To all who knew Betty Jean Trogdon, she will be dearly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 West Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA 92543. Services will begin in the chapel at 10:00am. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518. Entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary
