Betty Mae (Campbell) Condit Obituary
BETTY MAE (CAMPBELL) CONDIT, born in Howard Lake, Minnesota, passed peacefully in her sleep at her residence the morning of Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 97½years of age. A resident of Riverside, California, for the past 6 years, she was an attendee of Riverside Baptist Church on Magnolia. She was preceded in death by David Benjamin Condit, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, her devoted, caring husband of 70 years, who himself passed on March 4, 2008, at age 92. In her earlier years, Betty had primarily been a school teacher of Grammar School through High School as well as a bank teller. Betty was considered an exquisite cook. She could put a gourmet meal together from the family's hunting rewards of fresh-water frogs and turtles, wild rabbit, quail and dove, all types of fish, and home grown vegetables and fruit when living in the railroad town of Needles, California in the 1950's. Betty always considered those years as her and her family's happiest times. The last living of her own siblings, Betty is survived by her 3 children, Betty Dreher of Riverside, California, David R. Condit (wife Ellen) of Quartzsite (La Paz Valley), Arizona and Linda Quinto of Prescott, Arizona, all graduates of Dorsey High School in Los Angeles. She was blessed with a total of 8 grandchildren, all their spouses and 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind, Molly, her cat of 19 years and a host of other relatives, nieces and nephews and many friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. MAY GOD OUR FATHER AND OUR DAD AND GRANDPA KEEP YOU IN THEIR TRUST AND TENDER CARE UNTIL WE ALL ARE TOGETHER AGAIN. FROM YOUR LOVING FAMILY...
