BEVERLY BURKE passed from this life into her eternal rest to be with her Lord, Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at her home in Moreno Valley, California. Beverly was born in Belvader, South Dakota, Sept. 19, 1930 to parents, Fredrick Willert and Isabelle Steele Willert. Beverly was one of four children, Jack and Peggy preceded her in death. Beverly met the love of her life, Patrick H. Burke when he was stationed at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota. They joined in holy matrimony in Belle Fourche, South Dakota on March 2, 1954. Unto this union they were blessed with three daughters, Kanis, Lara and Diane. Mr. Burke and daughter Diane also preceded her in death. Beverly received a Bachelor's degree in accounting from UCR. She was employed with Bourns Inc. for many years working as an accountant and bookkeeper. She was also employed with RTA for a number of years in the same line of work. After retirement, she spent years serving her community through volunteer service at Riverside County Regional Medical Center where she served 12 years as Auxiliary Treasurer and Bookkeeper and received the Honorary Life Membership Award for outstanding service. She was also an honorary member of the Daughters of American Revolution, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 60 years. Beverly touched and impacted the lives of many and will be sorely missed. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Kaiser, South Dakota; two daughters, Kanis Burke, Moreno Valley, California and Lara Burke, Yucca Valley, California; four grandchildren, Cristopher Sturmer, Phoenix, Arizona, Bryanna Sturmer, Fresno, California, Patrick Zacharie Burke and Conrad Readinger, Moreno Valley, California; two great-granddaughters, Ciera Sturmer, Phoenix, Arizona and Isabella Smalz, Fresno, California; granddaughter in law, Alicia Daugherty-Sturmer, Phoenix, Arizona and a dear friend, Essie McCloud and a host of special friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, November 20, 2014. Funeral Service will be held at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 21, 2014. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
