Blair Berkley Obituary
Age 39, left too soon on October 27, 2017, in Newport Beach, California, after a fierce battle with testicular cancer. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 20, 1978, he grew up in El Centro, Irvine, and Corona. He graduated from Centennial High School, where he played basketball and baseball. He received his Bachelor's Degree from San Diego State University. It was in San Diego that Blair met his amazing wife Reagan; they recently celebrated ten years of marriage. With his natural gifts for sales and motivating others, he worked for Vector Marketing and most recently for Maglin Corporation. He was a talented and successful sales manager, and an inspiration to both those he trained as well as his colleagues. Blair loved surfing, golf, the Dodgers, Lakers, cooking, and his friends. Most of all he loved his family, who return that love through eternity.
Blair is predeceased by his grandfathers Hugh W. Berkley and Gayle M. Baker, and his aunt Doris Ann Berkley. He is survived by his beloved wife Reagan and their two sons, Mick (age 5), and Dean (6 months); parents Hugh and Louise Berkley; brother Braden (Brady) and sister-in-law Iris Berkley, niece Halston Berkley; sister Breanne Berkley Dargon and brother-in-law Christopher; grandmothers Lucy Berkley and Loris Baker; Reagan's parents Jimmie and Nicola Franks and her sister Jennifer; aunts and uncles Lynn Hastings, Mary Sue Berkley, Dennis and Maile Marquand, Mark and Silvia Baker; and his dog Rambis. Much extended family and cherished friends also loved and admired Blair and his never-ending spirit, determination, and tenacity.
Services are scheduled Friday, November 10, at 1:30 p.m. at Community United Methodist Church of Huntington Beach, 6652 Heil Avenue, Huntington Beach. A reception will follow at SeaLegs at the Beach, Huntington Beach Bike Trail, Huntington Beach, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
