Brenda Stewart Obituary

In Loving Memory of BRENDA MACHADO STEWART June 12th 1956 - April 15th 2016 Righteous soul Beloved Mother Devoted Wife Brenda was born In Santa Monica, Ca June 12, 1956 to Eleanor and Rudy Machado. She was the oldest of the four siblings and adored her little sister Laura and little brothers Rudy and Christopher. Unfortunately Laura and Chris both passed away in '94 and 2011, now they will be reunited. When Brenda was 26 she came out to live in Riverside, CA and it is here where she met the man who would love her and support her through all life's ups and downs, Brad Stewart. They had a small wedding but a strong foundation that upheld throughout the years; this August would have marked 34 yrs. Brenda gave Brad a daughter and two sons all to whom she devoted her life. She lived for her family and would go to any lengths for her children. No matter what mistakes were made or disappointments they faced, she was there unconditionally. No one could have asked for a better mother. She went to RCC and graduated with a license in cosmetology. She worked for a brief time doing women's hair and later got into barbering which she discovered was her calling, retiring in 2009. Since then she got blessed with being a Grandma 4 times. She loved her grandkids and they loved her. They had a bond no one could break or replace; her nickname was the baby whisperer. Brenda also loved yard sales and no one could find a better deal than her. She also surfed and skied when she was younger. She was the one to encourage her husband to pick up surfing. Brenda made an impact on all who knew her; she was warmth in a world that is so cold. She leaves behind her brother Rudy and sister-in-law Virginia; her mother-in-law Barbara; brother-in-law Duncan; lots of nieces and nephews; husband Brad; son Ryan and his wife Shelly; daughter Michelle and son-in-law Devin; son Stephen and daughter-in-law Jolene; as well as her 3 grandsons; 4 step granddaughters and her only granddaughter aka lil Brenda. To them she was everything and she will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. All that I am I owe to my beautiful Mother! Services will be held on May 7, 2016, 12noon at St. George's Episcopal Church, 950 Spruce St., Riverside, Ca 92507.

Well another year i had to endure without you mom i love u so much and never knew how much a person could love me until i didnt have you anymore. You would always call me on my birthday and tell me what time i was born and take me out to eat and buy me a gift. No one remembered my birthday only friends on facebook . i really love u and when ever i see a mother and daughter arguing with each other i cant help but give my advice to the daughter to cherish her time with her mother it is going to kill u for wasting any of her precious time fighting when she is gone . i love u and cant wait to be with u and all my family .i hope you look down and are finally happy with my life now and can see us . happy birthday mom
