Age, 83, passed away on November 23, 2017 at Raincross at Riverside/ Care Center from natural causes from breast/prostate cancer (metastatic). He was born on November 2, 1934 in Old Town, Maine. He had lived in Riverside, CA for 2 years, previously in Idyllwild, CA (38 yrs.); Fullerton, CA (34 yrs.), Camdenton, MO (10 yrs.), Arkadelphia, AR (10 yrs.), and Old Town, ME (10 yrs.). He attended high school and college in Arkadelphia, AR where he played football, etc.
Bruce worked at Ryan Aeronautical Co., where he got involved with the International Union, UAW (Auto workers, etc), Local Union President, UAW Staff Member, Regional Director, Int'l Executive Board Member (35+ yr. career); Founder and Chairman of UAW-Labor Employment & Training Corp. (UAW-LETC) from 1984 to present: 33 yrs.). He received numerous local and state legislature resolutions; invited to Carter/Clinton Inaugurals; Democratic Party Activist; Delegate, Central Committee & DNC member (J.F. Kennedy to B. Clinton Campaigns/40+ yrs.)
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Nilane A. Lee of Fullerton who died 11/21/1995; daughter Gloria Fioello of Layton, UT who died in early 2002; father William Lee of Malvern, AR; and mother Florence Grangel of Arkadelphia, AR. He is survived by his son Bruce Allen Lee and daughter-in-law Henryetta Prieto-Lee of Riverside, CA; sisters Constance Garrett of Arkadelphia, AR and Hope A. Kingrey of Little Rock, AR; brother Terry M. Lee of LouAnn, AR; grandchildren (c/o Gloria): Michael, Elizabeth, Anna Catherine Fiorello of Layton, UT; (c/o B. Allen): Christopher Lee of San Diego, CA; step-granddaughters Henryetta Andrade, Stefanie Varela and Ann Marie Pereida; and 10 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Sunday, December 17, 2017, 1:00PM at UAW-Region 5 Union Hall in Pico Rivera, CA.
