Cheryl Sandra Kruczek Obituary

2/25/1945 - 11/11/2017
Cheryl passed away peacefully at home from one of her many illnesses on November 11, 2017. She was born on February 25, 1945 in East Machia, Maine to father Charles W. Gatcomb Sr. and mother Emma M. Matthews. Her early years were in Wallingford, CT but past 50+ years were in Riverside, CA. Cheryl loved watching cooking shows which made her an excellent cook and homemaker. She loved family get togethers. She had received more mother, grandmother and great grandmother awards than I can count. She was a people person who loved to talk to anyone. If she was telling a story I would have to tell her to get on with it, she was a talker. Now I know when she talks to other angels they will fly away.
Cheryl will be sorely missed and her love for family and friends will always be remembered. She is survived by her husband Andrew; son Scott (wife Kathy); son Craig; daughter Tamie (husband Dean); daughter Paige; and seven grandchildren Christopher (wife Morgane), Tiffanie (husband Devon), Brittanie (husband Aaron), Andrew, Corey, Tyler and Kailee; and great grandchildren Autumn, Savannah, Rylie and Camdon. She also leaves behind sisters Norma (husband Ray), Donna and Brenda (husband Tony). Also many nieces and nephews. Cheryl was preceded in death by her brothers Chuck, Barry and sister Gloria.
The family would like to thank special friends Mel and Marie Kay who gave so much love, joy and prayers to her.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, any donations in her honor could be made to The Salvation Army.
