Coletta Agnes Premus Obituary
COLETTA AGNES PREMUS was born in South Dakota on September 21, 1935. As a result of medical issues, she entered eternal rest on April 19, 2015 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Coletta married Donald Duane Premus on October 23, 1954 and was a long time resident of Calimesa, CA, Banning, CA and Dyer, NV. She dedicated her life to ensuring that her husband, children and grandchildren were confident in the love she had for them. In addition to her children Mike (and Leslie) Premus, Steve (and Debbie) Premus, Linda Premus, Cheryl (and Eric) Mumper, Kathy (and Paul) Simpson, Randy (and Bonnie) Premus, Sandy (and Rob) Hyatt, her life was blessed with 23 grandchildren, Kyle, Emily, Camille (Hyatt), Matthew, Christopher, Brandi (Premus), Cortney (Keddy), Michael, Tiffany, Travis (Premus), Misty, Jamie, Tabitha, Kasie, Kenna (Mumper), Lisa, Duane, Jennifer (McGurk), Alyssa, Jenessa, Cody, Caleb, Caden (Premus) and 8 great-grandchildren, Logan, Sayde, Kyle, Melanie, Bryan, Ryker, Korrine and Laney (and 2 on the way!). Working side by side with her husband, they owned a retail Date Store in Indio, the first Richfield gas station in Calimesa, the Gulf gas station across the street, and Banning Auto Salvage. Together they invented the "Fan Clutch Eliminator", with the packaging and shipping being truly a family project. Coletta and Don worked together in all they did, from running businesses, raising their children, and building their dream home in Banning. Coletta was preceded in death by her husband Donald Duane Premus, her father Sidney Davidson, her mother, Marion Baudin and her granddaughter Jennifer McGurk. Coletta's passion to sew pajamas for her grandchildren, bake cinnamon rolls for Christmas, and gather the family together for the Holidays and family vacations (to include one of her favorite sports of water skiing at the Colorado River) will forever be cherished as just a few of the many loving memories she left. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Weaver Memorial Chapel in Beaumont, CA. The family is under the care of Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA 951-845-1141 To leave condolences or sign the online Guest book, please visit www.weaver- mortuary.com
