CORWYN ANN ARTHURS Age 63 passed away on January 27, 2013 at the Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA due to complications from Multiple Myeloma. She was born August 15, 1949 to Harold Yeager and Glendora (Baller) Yeager in Longmont, Colorado. Corwyn was the youngest of three children and as the "farmer's daughter" was active in 4H and Girl Scouts. In 1967, she graduated from Longmont High and attended Colorado State University where she met her future husband, George Arthurs. They were married on September 13, 1969 and after George graduated, moved to Lake Park, Florida. Corwyn's first child, Diane was born in 1971, just before they moved back to Colorado. In 1972, Corwyn, George and Diane moved to Norco, California for a year and then to Corona. Corwyn's second child, David, was born in 1973. She continued active in Girl Scouts and the Church while the children were growing up. In 1976 she rededicated her life to Jesus Christ and developed her interest in teaching the Word of God and helping others find Christ. In 1998, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Human Service from California State University, Fullerton. She established Unique Ministries where she was a Christian Counselor and conducted women's seminars. Several years ago, Corwyn co-founded the Searchlight Homeless Ministries where she and other teachers provided twice weekly bible studies, meals, and clothing to the homeless in Orange County. Corwyn is survived by her husband George Arthurs; son David Arthurs (Stephanie); daughter Diane (Jason) Gihring; grandson DJ Gihring and granddaughter Daisy Gihring. Also surviving Corwyn is her sister, Janet (Richard) Boespflug; brothers Clarke (Jeri) Yeager; and Garry (Chris) Yeager and their children. Memorial Service for Corwyn Arthurs will be held at 11 AM Saturday February 2, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1250 E. Heim Avenue, Orange, CA 92865. Reception to follow in Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, Corwyn would like donations be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Searchlight Homeless Ministry.
