Craig Jenkins Obituary
CRAIG JENKINS, age 63, passed away on June 5, 2015. He was raised in South Gate, CA and lived in Riverside for over 38 years. He was the IT manager at Partner's Advantage Insurance prior to his retirement and worked for the agency for over 25 years. Previously, he worked at Alcoa Aluminum in Corona for 16 years. He helped organize and served as the president of the National Industrial Union. Craig was very involved in the community serving as PTA president and School Site Council Chair at Rubidoux High School, Mission Middle School, and Pacific Elementary School. He was a volunteer at the Rubidoux Nature Center. He served as a Riverside County election officer at the local precinct for 26 years and was a familiar face to the voters. Craig was an incessant reader and enjoyed the Mystery Book Club at Barnes & Noble. He loved to travel. Craig camped throughout the United States with his family. He enjoyed cruises to Alaska and the Balkans. He loved going to Germany and Australia. Craig loved serving the Lord. He was an active member at Pathway Christian Church throughout the years serving as a deacon, teaching Sunday School, working the sound board, singing and performing with the choir and on the worship team. He went on a mission's trip to southern Chiapas. Craig leaves a family that loved him deeply; his wife of 44 years, Aggie, and their two daughters, Chandra and Elizabeth. He is also survived by family that he loved; his mother, brother, stepmother, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at Pathway Christian Church, 6455 Victoria Ave Riverside, CA on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Craig's name to Tumaini International Ministries, 6248 Woodruff Ave Lakewood CA 90713 or www.tumainiinternational.org Cards may be sent to Aggie Jenskins, P.O.
