DENNIS HENRY LYNAUGH Age 79, of Riverside, CA, died peacefully in the early morning of Wednesday, June 15, 2016 surrounded by his family in Riverside, CA. Dennis Lynaugh was born in Escanaba, Michigan to Henry Lawrence Lynaugh and Rose Lucia (Lasnoski) Lynaugh on October 8, 1936. He was the first of two sons. He graduated from Gladstone High School in 1954. He attended Marquette University. He was employed with Honeywell for 43 years. He has lived in Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa and in 1982 moved to Riverside, CA. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, building projects, computers and golf. He was a Ham Radio Operator (W9GCS) and was a member of the Riverside County Amateur Radio Association. He was a member of the Inland Koi Society, where he was the President from January 2011-2012. He attended Saint Catherine's Church and volunteered as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He married Dorothy Dierbeck in 1958 in Milwaukee, WI. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Dorothy Lynaugh and their eight children: Keith (Blandey) Lynaugh of Riverside, CA; Brian (Lisa) Lynaugh of Folsom, CA; Dennis (Anne) Lynaugh, JR of Costa Mesa, CA; Kevin (Shelley) Lynaugh of Carlsbad, CA; Michael (Debbie) Lynaugh of Orange, CA; Kathleen Lynaugh of Aliso Viejo, CA; Peter (Amy) Lynaugh of Frisco, TX; and Karen (Michael) Phelps of Aliso Viejo. He leaves behind fourteen grandchildren: Lauren, Brianna, Alison, Gabrielle, Mark, Kinsey, Kellen, Karisa, Nicholas, Brandon, Haley, Raleigh, Kyle and Connor. He is survived, by his younger brother Daryl Lynaugh of Stuartfalls, Wisconsin and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at Saint Catherine's Catholic Church located at 7050 Brockton Avenue, Riverside, CA on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary and online condolences may be sent to www.dignitymemorial.com.
