When they retired from their life in Los Angeles, they made their new home up in De Luz. Donna loved sharing stories of their life on the mountain and their ranch, it all ended with Paul's passing in 1995 and Donna sold the ranch and moved into town. She belonged to numerous service clubs: The Assistance League of Temecula, Soroptimist International of the America's Mission of SL San Jacinto-Hemet Valley, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Grace Presbyterian Church and the Temecula Garden Club. Donna's hobbies & special interests were the service clubs she belonged to and of course shopping and having fun. She loved to put on a party and her last one was on Halloween and of course it was lots of fun. Donna had such a zest for life and such an infectious happy disposition, she will be greatly missed. Her parents preceded her in death, Minor Dewell & Edith Lenora Cline-Lawhon of Ponca City, Oklahoma and her husband Paul. Her only survivor is her daughter Dove & son-in-law Luis Barra of Homeland. Donna left this life sometime during the night on Friday, November 7, 2014. She died from a Cerebral Hemorrhage due to hypertension. Her favorite charities were all the service clubs she belonged to and her church, if anyone wants to make a donation to them. The funeral is set for Friday, November 21st at 11:00am at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 31143 Nicolas Road, Temecula with a gathering afterwards at the Church Hall to Celebrate her life.
