DORIS "MARY" WILLIAMS WARREN MUNGER Mary is walking with Jesus. She was born September 8, 1934 in Enfield, NH and died peacefully in her sleep in her home in Murrieta, CA March 4, 2016. Mary moved to Colorado with her parents at a young age. After graduating from East High School in Denver, CO, she married George Warren and had 2 children. After losing George, killed in a car accident, when the children were 3 and just barely 1 she moved to California to start a new life and to raise the babies she loved so dearly. She worked as a bank teller and an escrow officer in Southern California. As a single mom, raising 2 young children, she purchased her first home in 1965. In 1974 she married Lee R. Munger, gaining 3 more children to love and help raise. Lee helped her achieve her life long dreamshe became a private pilot. Over time her 5 children blessed her with 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren to love and dote on, giving her much joy. Mary had a gift from God - the desire to help others. She was active in Stephen Ministry and did volunteer chaplain visitations at local hospitals. She was the neighborhood caretaker; driving neighbors to appointments and checking in on those who were ill or lonely. She also enjoyed Bible study and Circle Group. Mary's hobbies included flying, writing, skiing, doll collecting, knitting, crocheting, sewing and her greatest love, doting on her grand and great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Marie Colby Williams; father George Irving Williams; 2 older brothers; first husband (George Warren); and grandson David Alan Warren. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Lee R. Munger; sons, Todd Warren, Steve Vincent, Michael Munger; daughters, Carol (Warren) Savage and Michele (Munger) Cormack; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery March 17, 10:00 a.m.
