DOROTHY MARY PARKER (WODAL) Jan 10, 1919 - Oct 25, 2012 Dorothy was born in Chicago and grew up in Los Angeles where she attended Manual Arts High School and had a passion for playing piano and acting. She moved to Riverside, performed at the Riverside Community Play House, and hosted a question-and-answer game show for military personnel at radio KPRO. Dorothy also served as president of Ava Maria Catholic Girls' sorority. In San Francisco she met her husband of 62 years, Harold Parker, and married on August 30, 1950 in a Catholic ceremony in the gardens of Blessed Sacrament Church in Hollywood with friends and relatives in attendance. Dorothy and Hal appeared on the Bride and Groom Radio Show at Hotel Knickerbocker in Hollywood. Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband Harold Parker of Riverside; cherished sister Frances Whitney of San Jose, sister in-law Ginger Winger and husband Ron of Carmel; and their respective families. Dorothy passed away on the evening of October 25 and joined cherished family and friends who have gone before her.
