EARL DEAN BRYANT Earl Dean Bryant was born in Des Moines, Iowa on February 14, 1937, and moved to California when he was a young boy. He graduated from Downey High School, spent 4 years in the Air Force, and worked for Southern California Gas Company. In 1968 he was hired by the California Highway Patrol. Earl loved working for the Patrol, he retired after 26 years. He moved to Sun City, Ca in 1973 and after retirement he got his real estate license and worked for Coldwell Banker ABR for approximately 10 years. Earl had a dry sense of humor and could be very funny. His nickname on the Highway Patrol was Black Bart. He was an avid reader and loved his dogs. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Janette; his brother Harley Leo; his two children Denise Cabral (Antonio), Michael Bryant (Eunice); four stepchildren, Robert Flowers (Cindy), Yolonda Poret (Glenn), Duane Flowers, Stephanie Belme (Troy); sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Earl left this world on April 3, 2015; he passed peacefully at home with loved ones by his side after a long illness. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery April 14th at 12 PM.
