Edward Soares Obituary
EDWARD SOARES Edward Soares passed away peacefully November 30, 2015 at the age of 83 at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, CA. He was born in Newport, Rhode Island on December 5, 1931. He lived in Moreno Valley for 56 years. Edward served in the Air Force and was a combat veteran in Korea and a veteran of Vietnam. He retired as a Master Sergeant in 1969. He was a skilled mechanic, contractor and craftsman. He owned an Exxon service station and he owned Custom Innovations cabinetry shop in Moreno Valley. Ed was a charter member of the Wesleyan Christian Fellowship. Edward was a much loved and respected husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Christine; 2 sons, Chuck and Steve, a daughter Helen; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grand-daughter; and 1 brother Norman. He was preceded in death by his son Tony, and his 2 brothers Anthony and Frances, and his parents Antone and Helen. All are welcome to attend his services on 12/15/15. He will be buried with Military Honors at 11:00 am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd. at Staging Area 1, followed by a memorial service and luncheon at Wesleyan Christian Fellowship, 1300 Indian Ave., Moreno Valley.
