Estela Doran Obituary
ESTELA DORAN Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Aged: 77. It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we, her family, mourn her passing. She will eternally be the heart, strength and foundation of our entire family. Estela is survived by her children; daughter Donna Poole; son Donald R. Doran and his wife Debra; son Mark Doran and his wife Veronica, and daughter Theresa Doran and her wife Christine. Born in Tucson, Arizona July 8, 1938. From humble beginnings she and her siblings married and began to have families. Her future husband Donald, was in the Air Force and met Estela whilst stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB. They fell deeply in love which lasted both of their lifetimes. Our Mom and Dad married 03/09/1957. During Dad's career, they were based in Oklahoma, England, New Jersey, Texas, Illinois and finally at March AFB. To this day we are still in awe of the devotion our mom offered her beloved husband and family whilst our Dad served in the Air Force. It is truly a testament of her love for us all. During our childhood, mom dedicated her life to her family and St. Christopher's Catholic Church. In addition to keeping a home for us and working full-time, among her vocations, she was a Certified Nurse's Aid caring for other people. She volunteered countless hours helping the sports programs her children participated in. She held many titles such as Team Mom, Scorekeeper, and was the snack bar manager. She was last employed with the Moreno Valley Unified school district for over 20 years. In the latter years of her life, she dedicated her life to her grandchildren Dylan Poole, Donovan Doran, Vanessa Shelly, Diego Doran, Antonio Doran, Brayan Doran, Dominic Doran and Thomas Doran, who will never forget her hugs and eskimo/butterfly kisses. She was given the nickname JoJo that stuck several years ago and she showed love to her grandchildren in many ways. During the last years of her life, she endured many health issues and with the support of many people, she was able to share precious time with her family. A special mention to Janelle, her caretaker and our family friend, we are eternally grateful. She is also survived by her sister Mary and brother-in-law Bill Moore; sister-in-law Carmen Quesada; god-daughter Keri Garcia-Sanchez and her many nieces and nephews. It is with honor and love that we will be laying our Mom to rest with her cherished husband and our beloved father Donald. Together again at last, they will share Love, Peace and Happiness for Eternity. Funeral Arrangements as follows: 8/26/15 Arlington Mortuary, 9645 Magnolia Ave. Riverside, Ca: Visitation 4-8pm.
