Ethel Marie Chesbro Obituary
ETHEL MARIE CHESBRO 11/06/21 - 1/02/13 Ethel M. Chesbro (nee: Thompson), (91) passed away peacefully with family members at her side on January 2, 2013 in San Clemente, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold on October 13, 2003 and grandson Tom Marsh. Ethel is survived by her daughter, Jill Rolapp (Lawrence G. Rolapp); step-daughter, Sylvia Marsh (Clyde Marsh); her son, David Armstrong (Rosalie Armstrong); grandsons, Rick Marsh, Christopher Armstrong; grand-daughters, Deborah Eusebio and Marshawn Clark; great grandsons Joshua Eusebio, Nicholas Eusebio & Jack Guptill; great granddaughters Hannah Eusebio, Evangeline Rose Armstrong, Eleanor Marie Armstrong, and great-great-grandson, Noah Eusebio. Ethel was born in Paulding, Ohio, but spent most of her adult life in Riverside, CA, where she was very involved in many civic affairs: The First Congregational Church, the Riverside Women's Club as President, Local Chapter of Eastern Star, Shrine Club and Scottish Rite Club. She was instrumental in forming Sunshine School for mentally challenged children. She was also very active as President of the PTA for many years. Ethel lived a rewarding life and her children will always remember the arms of care, compassion and love that we were privileged to have wrapped around us by such a great lady. We will continue our lives in her honor, enriched by the precious time she devoted to each of us in so many ways. We will always have a special place in our hearts for our Mom. She will be interred at Olivewood Cemetery in Riverside in a private family service. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Orange County and The Villas of San Clemente for their special care of our Mother.
