Eula Mae (Greer) Popovich Obituary
EULA MAE (GREER) POPOVICH Eula was birthed as Eula Mae Adkisson on February 21, 1921 in Byars, OK and entered her chapter of Eternal Life on July 8, 2014 in Hemet, CA. Her marriage to Hallie Wade produced four children: Roy Dale Wade (deceased 2001), Donald Leon Wade and wife Debbie of Watsonville, CA, Sharon Kay Fowler (deceased 2010), and Linda Mae Wade of Hemet. Her nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren all adored their Grandma Eula. Eula is remembered for her active interest in community affairs and her devotion to the Hemet Church of Religious Science where she taught and counseled for forty years. Her enthusiasm and love of life was a positive in rearing her four children as a single parent. She was always ready to help and encourage others with life's many challenges. Her hobbies were reading, needle point, home-decorating, and recruiting people for the Toastmasters Club. Eula was a 12-year participant in the local chapter of the Oldlympics and holds 13 gold medals for speed walking. She, with her late husband, Edward Popovich, enjoyed world travel. A funeral service will be held to celebrate Eula's life on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 N. San Jacinto Street, Hemet, CA 92543. She will be privately laid to rest at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, San Jacinto, CA. Eula and the family request, in lieu of flowers, that remembrances be made to the Hemet Center for Spiritual Living (aka: Hemet Church of Religious Science).
