Evelyn Domenigoni Obituary
Community Leader, EVELYN DOMENIGONI, Age 76, of Winchester, CA, left her earthly life on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. The youngest of three strong and capable daughters born to True and Margaret Brown, Evelyn was born and raised in Homeland, CA with her sisters, Margie and Alberta. In 1958 she married her high school sweetheart, the late Robert "Bob " Domenigoni who preceded her in death on February 21, 2013. They settled in Winchester to help with Bob's parents' needs for help with the family's land and other endeavors. Evelyn was trained and served as an operating room RN in Riverside for about four years before she became a full-time mother and homemaker. Being the youngest, she very naturally enjoyed the expansion of her immediate family to include her brothers by marriage, Bob Hines and Jerry Taylor, and happily engaged in the amalgamation of all of her extended family into her own. Together with Bob and her Brown and Domenigoni family, she raised two children, Fred and Angela. Her love and devotion expanded as her family grew to include another son and daughter by marriage, Wayne and Cathy and her three grandchildren, John, Eric and Jesse. Many of Bob and Evelyn's closest friends shared her love to contribute and give back to their community and serve those less fortunate with her time volunteering. Evelyn was a servant leader in every organization she became involved with including the Winchester PTA, the Winchester Women's Club, the Hemacinto Lioness, the Hemet Breakfast Lions Club, the Winchester Community Association, and the Winchester Historical Society. In times of rest and retreat, Evelyn loved classic movies, crafts, traveling, and being by the ocean. She cherished Cambria and gathering moonstones along the shore. She loved cats and the sensory experiences of feeding the birds, both at the beach and at her home. She loved through service, she loved with sacrifice and unwavering loyalty, and she gave her life to all she loved so dearly. Family and friends are gathering at Miller-Jones in Hemet beginning at 4:00 on Sat. Nov 8.
