FRANK EDISON DOUCETTE Frank, age 84, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Wildomar, California. Frank was one of three children born to parents Levi and Mary Doucette. He was raised in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Frank joined the US Navy at the age of 17 and after his Honorable Discharge in 1947, he stayed here in California. He went to work for Rockwell North America working at their Downey Plant and worked there for over 40 years until his retirement. Frank met Donna Mae Hartley in Inglewood, CA. They fell in love and were married on May 20, 1950. They started their family in Inglewood. They have 2 children together, Diane and Scott. The family moved to Fullerton, CA and in 1991, Frank and Donna retired and moved to Lake Elsinore, CA. Donna passed in 1994. She and Frank were married for over 44 years. Frank has lived in Lake Elsinore since. He has spent the past nine years with his companion, Annie Williamson. Frank enjoyed sports, all sports, and especially baseball (Go Dodgers!). In his life, Frank has ushered at the Coliseum, played in (too?) many Softball Leagues, and he always attended the Bob Hope and Dinah Shore Golf Classics. More so, Frank loved his family and he loved his country. He was proud of his service in the US Navy and proud of the American Flag. He has lived a great life and he will be missed. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Donna Mae; his sister Delores and his brother Sherman. Frank is survived by his daughter Diane; son Scott; grandchildren Megan, Lori, Dawn, and Mark; great-grandchildren Blayk, Jack, Branson, and Madison; and his companion Annie Williamson. Frank's life will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 28, 2012, at the Evans Brown Sun City Mortuary Chapel, 27010 Encanto Drive, Sun City, CA. Committal Services with Military Honors performed by the US Navy will follow at 12:31 PM (Staging Area #6) at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.
